The Call for Nominations to the ISE Board for the 2016-18 term was released April 1. No qualifying nominations were received for the following Board positions:

  • President-elect/Vice President
  • Treasurer (4-year term)
  • Regional Representative: Africa
  • Regional Representative: North America
  • Regional Representative: Europe

Per Article 9.8.2 in the ISE Constitution, the Call for Nominations is now closed and will be re-opened on the floor of the first General Assembly, to be voted on by those members attending the second General Assembly in person. If no nominations are received during the first General Assembly, the position will remain unfilled and the incoming Board will appoint someone after the Congress.

One qualifying nomination was received for each of the following positions:

  • Regional Representative: Oceania and Pacific Islands (Joe McCarter)
  • Regional Representative: Asia (Chunlin Long)

Per Article 9.8.2 in the ISE Constitution, at least two nominees must be received for Regional Representative positions. As only one nomination was made for each of these roles, the Call for Nominations is now closed and will be re-opened on the floor of the first General Assembly, to be voted on by those members attending the second General Assembly in person. If no nominations are received during the first General Assembly, the persons nominated will become the Regional Representatives by acclamation.

Two qualifying nominations were received for Regional Representative: Central and South America and the Caribbean. Voting is now open for this position. Please click on each of the boxes below to view the nomination materials. When you are ready, make your selection and log in to submit your vote. Voting closes Friday 5 August at 21:00 UTC!

Finally, the position of Board Secretary has opened due to a recent resignation. The current Board will appoint a new Secretary as soon as possible. Expressions of interest should be sent to the ISE Administrative Assistant.
