The Disney Conservation Fund’s Annual Conservation Grants provide support for the study of wildlife, the protection of habitats, and community conservation and education. Grants of up to $25,000 are available for projects around the world. (Applying organizations must have U.S. nonprofit status; non-governmental organizations may apply in partnership with a U.S. organization.) Funded projects should clearly contribute to the conservation of endangered or threatened species and their habitats. Projects should also engage the surrounding communities through community-based education programs or support sustainable community development projects that assist communities in protecting nature. Preference is given to projects that target specific wildlife issues, including efforts to explore sustainable aquaculture, address sustainable seafood, or control illegal wildlife trade. Letters of inquiry are due by December 15, 2015; the deadline for invited proposals is March 4, 2016. Visit the Fund’s website to download the FAQs and the letter of inquiry form.
