Pre-Congress Workshop for Emerging Ethnobiologists: Cultivating Mindfulness in Research
The International Society of Ethnobiology (ISE) is holding an unprecedented international workshop for graduate students and post docs prior to the 12th ISE Congress, in Tofino, British Columbia, Canada.  The two-day intensive workshop (Saturday May 8 – Sunday May 9) will bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous graduate students and post docs with leading experts from around the world for seminars on cutting edge topics, exchange of experiences, relationship-building, and fostering collaborations into the future. A key outcome of the workshop is the creation of a new “Emerging Ethnobiologists International Network” to support much needed networking and collaborative opportunities for graduate students and early career ethnobiologists.  A short description of the Workshop is provided below the application information.
