Become a member of the ISE
Please become a member of the International Society of Ethnobiology. A new membership fee scale for the ISE, a membership drive, and new membership benefits were announced and approved at the General Assembly during the International Congress of Ethnobiology (ICE) in Cusco, Peru (June 2008).
Membership Fee
ISE membership fees cover a 24-month period, which begins during the month in which you register. As of August 2008, the ISE bases membership rates on (self-declared) annual income. The ISE encourages membership fee waivers in exchange for in-kind contributions to the Society. Suggestions for in-kind contributionare listed on the ISE membership Subscription form.
Important note: The ISE membership fee is separate from Congress (ICE) registration.
Payments must be in U.S. dollars (credit cards, checks drawn on U.S. accounts, or postal/money orders). Websites, such as www.xe.com/ucc/, can be used for currency conversion.
